Celebrity Feet: P. Diddy, J. Cole, Ciara, & Amare Stoudemire in Air Jordans
It was a big night out for the celebrities last week, as P. Diddy, J. Cole, Ciara, and Amare Stoudemire were spotted at Webster Hall in New York City to attend the birthday bash for DJ Prostyle. There were many celebrities on hand, but these four deserve special notice for their notable sneakers, like Diddy’s Space Jams, Ciara and J. Cole and in Air Jordan IIIs, and Knicks All-Star Forward Amare Stoudemire in the Air Jordan XIII Playoffs. Looks like it was a fun night, so check out the four celebs and their sneakers after the jump and let us know which of the four had the best kicks!
Air Jordan 1 ‘Banned’ – New Images.
Last August, Sneaker News first showed you a sample pair of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Banned’, which featured a black leather ‘X’ stitched over the Jumpman logo on the heel, Jordan Wings logo, and the tongue. Recently, another updated look at this playful edition of the Air Jordan 1 featured a red ‘X’ painted over the heel logo, and these new detailed images shed a bit more light on how far Jordan Brand wants to take this unique idea. First and foremost, the tongue features ‘Nike Air’ instead of the Jumpman logo, the Wings logo remains unscathed. The inner insole features that ‘Banned’ graphic and text, and the inner lining is decorated with tiny ‘X’ marks. No word on a release just yet, but take a look at these new detailed images and let us know what you think of the ‘Banned’ concept. via JordansDaily.
Nike Air Max 1 Hyperfuse.
Yesterday Sneaker News gave you a look at the Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse, an updated version of the classic Air Max runner featuring Hyperfuse material on the upper. Following yesterday’s big news is the Nike Air Max 1 Hyperfuse, a shoe that Sneaker News gave you a detailed look at last year. It’s just like you imagined it – an Air Max 1 silhouette with the super-lightweight three-layer Fuse material transferred onto the upper to reduce the shoe’s weight drastically. The Air Max 1 is more of a lifestyle product than a performance shoe, but does the implementation of one of Nike’s best and brightest technologies make it suitable for sport again? Check out the detailed images of these two upcoming colorways and stick with Sneaker News for more updates and information as it develops. via HS.
