Vans has shown us several times over the years that a premium brown leather construction can make their classic skate silhouettes look the part of a full-on dress shoe, and this latest release from the California Collection is no exception. Check out the Vans California Sk8-Hi Reissue that’s slated to hit retailers during Q3, a rich mix of caramel brown premium leather and white stitching to match the classic Vans waffle sole. The corded laces take their subtle appeal over the top, making for one of the best non-hybrid ‘dressy’ sneakers we’ve seen all year. Vans Era California – Fall 2010.
The latest entry in Vans’ California Collection is another Off the Wall classic. The Vans Era is a staple in any robust skate-inspired wardrobe, and these two new pairs are among the nicest to ever hit retail. Both of them are done in monochromatic leather with perforations on the side panels, just like the California Sk8-His we previewed earlier this month. They also have gold accents including embroidery and metallic eyelets, so click the jump below for more images and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these Fall 2010 releases. via Sneakers.FR

Vans California Sk8-Hi Reissue – July 2010.
We saw the Old Skool lowtops from Vans’ California Collection last week, and today it’s time to look into something a tad higher. The Vans Sk8-Hi is back as part of the California Collection ‘Reissue’ series, this time in a pack that all share micro-perforated leather uppers. They’re also all lined in soft leather, and you can choose from black, ‘Bungee Cord’ (light tan) or ‘Goat’ (darker tan). Take a look at all three after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates. via FNG
